Welcome to my new author website. Over the last few months I’ve been working with Dana Weitzenberg of Lobstervine Website Design and Development to create a brand new internet home, a place where we can visit, albeit virtually, and I can share the road to the publication of my debut memoir, The Cardinal Club: A Daughter’s Journey to Acceptance. Dana also migrated my blog, The Bottom of the Ninth, to the new site and I’ll be blogging here from now on.

The journey to publication is a long one. It was October when I found out my book would be published by Adelaide. Since then I’ve been immersed in rewrites, edits and lots of waiting. Lots and lots of waiting. But that, I’m learning, is the nature of publishing. I’m learning to be patient. We’ve recently set the cover for my book and in the coming months I’ll be continuing to work with my publisher, Adelaide Books, to bring The Cardinal Club to life.
