Husband. Family. House in the suburbs. Martha Engber had all the ingredients of a happy life — just like the one she was raised in. And then something happens that made her question all of it.
In Bliss Road, Martha writes about being raised by a father with undiagnosed Autism Spectrum Disorder and the journey to heal from the confusion of having a neurotypical parent who could not show affection. It is the story of how she learned to overcome the lack of personal connection and forge healthy relationships.
Bliss Road will be released in June. When she’s not writing, editing or giving workshops, she spends her time on her surfboard, bike or two feet, on the road to a more blissful life.
